It's our second year of homeschooling for preschool and the first year for Kindergarten. I had no idea how much I would love it when we initially started. I never even imagined myself homeschooling until about a year and a half ago and am so happy that I pushed into that feeling to try it.

When it comes to keeping my kitchen clean it can be a bit difficult to manage with two kids and two work-from-home adults. We eat at home 90% of the time so our kitchen gets a LOT of use throughout the day. I've found even if I don't have time to deep clean my kitchen every day, a few things make it look and smell clean in between uses.

We have slowly but surely been building out Ian's office to be his dream space. One day we are hoping to have built-in bookshelves halfway around the room, but until then we got to large cabinets off Marketplace and painted them black. Ian often reads in this space and does his personal development in the morning here too, so we've been on the lookout for a chair that has both comfort and style that fits the space.

As Ian's been working from home for over five years now I've tried to help him make his work/personal space a little bit more functional and happy for him. We bought him some bookshelves/cabinets on Marketplace and painted them matte black. It definitely helped with storage and actually decluttered things quite a bit.

Spring always gets my adrenaline pumping to intensify my workouts. Between the extra Vitamin D, everything blooming and just the overall excitement of warmer weather my workouts just overall seem to improve this time of year compared to winter.

Every year, it's one of my favorite things to plan and execute my boy's birthday parties. I want them to feel loved and celebrated every day of the year, and on their birthday I wanted them to experience that celebration in a very personal way.

We made some updates to the boy's school room to help them get into the groove for the second half of the year and we all love it.

I can't believe it's taken me so long to share this post with you all. At the end of May, I found these old-school chairs on Facebook Marketplace. I could tell they were solid wood and in good condition and couldn�t wait to get my hands on them to make them our own.

2020 was a year unlike any other. Despite the struggles and challenges, it was a year filled with memories and takeaways. From the beginning of the pandemic to the end of the year, we've had to adapt to a new normal. We've learned to find joy in the small moments, like family gatherings and outdoor activities. We've come to appreciate the people in our lives even more, as well as the simple things we often take for granted.

At the beginning of this month, we had the opportunity to travel to Asheville and stay at the Omni Grove Park Inn. It was a special treat for me because I have wanted to stay at the resort for about ten years now. The last time we were in Asheville we had a quick trip over Thanksgiving with my parents and fell in love with the city and the beauty surrounding it.

Once upon a time, Cove turned five. He asked for a book birthday party and it's pretty perfect considering his love for reading. Little golden books are everywhere because it is his GOLDEN birthday and he's a whole hand.

Ian and I have been on the hunt for a specific kind of sofa for a number of years. We've slowly been saving so we could invest in a piece that would last us forever and pair well with the changes we make in the living room periodically and we finally found it.
