In truth, my blog needs some updating, and life caught up to me and I didn't get around to it. We randomly decided the end of last year to do a bathroom refresh. Ours was not bad, but definitely mismatched and really dark. I'll show you some pictures below.
We ended up taking out the wall between the shower and the tub. We then moved the plumbing to the other wall so that the shower faucet came out on the opposite wall. We added a freestanding tub and glass doors around the shower.For the vanity, I tried sanding it down to stain it, but it was not working and I really wanted a wood look so we ended up having a custom base built and then put a leathery marble countertop on the top with new sinks and antique gold hardware.
Almost all of the hardware came from Amazon and then the tile was all floor and decor. I will link it all for you below.
