When it comes to buying mom the perfect gift, I always think personal and thoughtful always win. I would much rather get a hand written card from my boys than anything expensive or fancy just because they feel like they need to do something. Heartfelt and meaningful always beats those things.
But if you are struggling to come up with ideas for something to spoil her with, here are a few of the things I recommend.
SunnyLife Beach Chair - While I don't personally own one of these, they are on my wish list. They adjust down fully or partially and are cushioned for extra comfy sunbathing. If you are a baseball mom like me, you are probably thinking how convenient they'd be for the bleachers too.
Pens.- I was gifted one of these pens a while ago and they have become the ultimate pen for me. Nothing writes or feels as smooth as these pens. Weirdly enough, as a mom I would enjoy getting a good stack of these.
Hosanna Revival Bible - These have been on my list for years now, because I don't think you can get a better gift than the Word of God! Top it off with a beautiful illustrated cover and you've got the loveliest combo. The past three of these Bible's I've received I've journaled through the Bible in a year with the intentions of giving them to one of my boys at a certain point in their life as a memory from me. I love the idea of giving this to someone lovely mother of grandmother with the same idea.
Owala - I've transferred to team Owala after being team stanley for years. Partly because they don't spill and the straw is completely covered. They have so many beautiful color combos. Keep your mom hydrated for spring and summer with one of these.
Hoka - Your mom doesn't have to be an avid runner to enjoy these tennis shoes. Even for the park mom, these are the ultra comfy every day shoes everyone needs in their life. There are so many fun colors to choose from. I recommend the Bondi8 or Clifton9.
Boat and Tote Bag with Personalization - This was the IT bag last year and this year is no exception. She's already carrying everything for you, get her something cute to carry it all in. The kicker is you need to personalize it with something cute not just a monogram. Think "full of it," "Rigatoni," "spicy" or a fun nickname. It's supposed to be a little fun and sassy.
Peonies - I think buying a whole plant is one of the sweetest gifts because it's the bouquet that gives for years and years to come. I've recieved peony bushes that bloom every Mother's Day and it's something I look forward to every year.
Freshwater Pearls - These are a timeless look that go with just about everything. Your mom would love these with a handwritten card.
Hope this helps! Happy Mother's Day, friends!
